Laurie Adams has been serving as clinical coordinator for the Radiation Therapy Program at Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah, GA since 2009. Laurie has been a radiation therapist for over 20 years and has alternated between clinical practice and education several times. She has been actively involved in professional organizations throughout her career and is currently serving as the president of the Coastal Society of Imaging and Therapeutic Sciences, Inc. It was her role in the local society that brought her first to the Georgia Society of Radiologic Technologists board meetings and then to the annual meeting where she was inspired to want to join the board. She enjoys meeting fellow radiologic technologists and looks forward to a productive year.
