Vice President:
Lynn Clavijo, M.S.,R.T.(R)
404-218-3127
Lynn graduated from University Hospital School of Radiography in Augusta, Georgia in 1986. While working as a staff technologist and radiology supervisor at Crawford Long Hospital, she obtained a Bachelors of Medical Science degree from Emory University and began teaching in the radiography program at Griffin Technical College. After five years as instructor and program director at Griffin Tech, Lynn accepted a position as an instructor for Emory's radiography program and was there for five years. In 2001, a former colleague contacted her about joining a privately owned imaging center, and, after visiting the center and observing the high focus on customer service to both the referring physician and patient, she accepted a position as Marketing Representative. Five years later, she accepted the position of Marketing Director at Johns Creek Diagnostic Center. During her work in marketing, Lynn was often asked to provide radiation safety and radiographic training to staff working physicians’ offices and developed her business, RAD 101, Inc.
The Georgia Rules and Regulations for X-ray have not been updated in over 20 years and many physicians’ offices are allowing staff with little or no training to perform radiographic exams. In her work with these offices, Lynn has seen the poor image quality and overexposure of patients first hand and is passionate about working to educate the public and trying to get stronger laws passed.
Lynn lives in Cumming (north of Atlanta) with her husband and seven year old daughter. She is involved in many activities with her daughter’s school and at church.
